"The staff were wonderful, and the breakfast buffet was excellent with a good variety of options. However, the hotel is quite old and would benefit from renovations and general maintenance, particularly in the bathrooms. Upon checkout, we were asked to leave a review. My sister and I had separate bookings and submitted the same feedback about the property. However, my sister received a complimentary gift/refund for providing her review, while I did not receive anything despite having a separate reservation and submitting the same feedback. This felt inconsistent and unfair, especially since we both followed the same request from the hotel. Overall, the staff were helpful and accommodating, but the property itself could use some improvements. I also hope the hotel can be more consistent and transparent in how it handles guest feedback and any incentives offered in exchange for reviews."
